Unfortunately, auto accidents do happen, and when they do it’s important to choose a repair facility that is up to date on the latest technology and repair techniques. Dents Unlimited, since 2002, has been a quality, safety, and environmentally focused repair provider in Central Missouri.
As a consumer you need to know that you have rights: it is always your decision where you have your vehicle repaired. It’s important to choose a repair facility that you trust to do a good job on the repairs, and that will be around in the future should you need them. At Dents Unlimited we guarantee our work for as long as you own your vehicle and take pride in each and every repair. We are an accepted vendor for all insurance companies in central Missouri, and we work with all insurance companies and adjusters equally to make sure your job gets done right, in a timely fashion, and with proper records documenting the repair.
Dents Unlimited is not involved with any “direct repair” programs for any specific insurance company. A direct repair program is one where an insurance company develops a corporate link with a repair shop. The insurance company then tries to direct work to that shop, and the shop makes concessions to the insurance company to lower their costs associated with collision claims. We work with all insurance companies equally, keeping us in the drivers seat to make proper repair decisions for our customers.
Many people feel that, once their vehicle has been damaged in a major collision, it will never be the same. This belief couldn’t be farther from the truth! Unfortunately, Missouri does not compensate for diminished value. Companies such as Carfax keep records on insurance collision claims and such records will always be associated with the vehicle. Without fair compensation from the state of Missouri for diminished value, consumers are left with one option and one option only…..the repair facility. The quality of the repair is paramount; therefore, all you are left with when you go to sell your vehicle is the physical appearance of the repair and the quality of the records available for a future buyer to access.
Unfortunately, pressures in the industry can cause some shops to do whatever it takes to complete repairs on a damaged vehicle, leaving you, the consumer, with a large Carfax record and what could amount to a difficult time finding a buyer or getting top dollar for your trade. At Dents Unlimited we make decisions that are focused on a safe repair using quality parts, updated technology, and a genuine desire to do what is best for our customers. If the vehicle can be repaired correctly, with records properly documenting the repair and structural realignment, Dents Unlimited will go ahead with the repairs. If it cannot, or if the cost becomes too high for repair, recommendations will be made to your insurance company to deem the damage a total loss, and efforts will not be made to “save” the vehicle, but will be made to make sure the correct action is taken for the particular situation. As an independent repair facility, Dents Unlimited retains the freedom to do what is proper for your vehicle.
